(1) Characteristics of product
For WH-HOCB holes opening ceramic ball, it is a kind of newly
developed product on the basis of the inert alumina by our company.
The holes are opened through the axle center, which is on the
direction of the spherical diameter. There is not only the certain
mechanical strength, chemical and thermal stability, but also
it improves the specific surface areas and the void volume,
so, the dispersing property and the flux of the materials are
increased, at the same time, the system resistance is reduced
too. It can be utilized to replace the inert alumina ball as
the covering or supporting material in such fields as: the petroleum,
chemical industry, and natural gas etc.
For this product, the national patent was gained in 1995, the
provincial first award of excellent new product and the provincial
outstanding prize of patent product were also achieved in 1996
and 1997 respectively. Since it entered the market, the product
had gained much attention and favorable comment. The utilizing
situations from customers showed that: for WH-HOCB holes opening
ceramic ball, compared with the former covering or supporting
material, the distribution of gas or liquid was much more uniform,
the flow was obviously increased, and the system resistance
was clearly reduced. in the same reactor or reactive furnace

(4) Specification and assortment
Specification: For WH-HOCB holes opening ceramic ball, there
are twelve diameter sizes as: Ø6, Ø8, Ø10,
Ø13, Ø16, Ø20, Ø25, Ø30,
Ø38, Ø50, Ø60, Ø75.
Assortment: In accordance with the AL2O3 content from 20%
to 95%, there are 16 sorts of assortments on every 5% as a
grade. Further, we can also provide the product as customers
required specification and AL2O3 content.
(5) Notice to ordering goods
a) Customers had better discuss the basic situation of
the apparatus with our technological staff in case of ordering
goods, including the size of reactor, the operational conditions,
and the reactive temperature etc.
b) Customers had better provide the needed product specification,
type, number of opening holes and whether the reinforcement
would require.
